October 29 through November 2 is College Application Campaign Week
Students are encouraged to apply for college admission during College Campaign Week. However, it is perfectly fine to apply anytime. Since RCS students receive free lunch each senior is allowed to waive up to three application fees from participating colleges. Some out of state colleges will not accept the fee waiver. You can go to Tracy Malone's office anytime to pick up your College Admission Fee Waiver. During College Campaign Week waivers will be located in the computer lab where the counselors will be assisting students that are applying to college. Listed below is the schedule for college representatives to be on campus. You may apply to any college during any time that week, but it is recommended if you plan to apply to UNA, NWSCC or Alabama please plan on applying while a representative is on campus. This is a great time to make a contact with the college representative and ask any questions that you may have. We will send information regarding scheduling appointments in the near future.
