The class of 1988 is proud to present this memorial scholarship in memory of one of our beloved classmates, Roy Lee “Chucky” Mullins. This scholarship has been created by the class of ’88 and some of Chucky’s close friends as a way to remember and honor the memory of Chucky’s positive spirit and determination.
Qualifications and Guidelines:
Application Procedure:
The scholarship is a $2000 scholarship with $500 being paid each semester. At the end of each semester, the student must present his/her official transcript and if funding is available, the scholarship may be renewed based on the student being enrolled as a full-time student with a minimum grade point average of 2.75 and the scholarship committee’s recommendation.
Applications will be made available through the Russellville High School guidance office.
Qualifications and Guidelines:
- The applicant should demonstrate strong character and involvement in giving back to the community.
- The applicant should demonstrate leadership skills.
- The applicant has participated in extracurricular activities and community service activities while enrolled as a student at Russellville High School.

Russellville, AL 35653 - Applicants must attach one letter of recommendation with the application. The letter must come from an individual you see as a community leader in Russellville.
- Applicants must include the activity sheet, essay sheet, and question sheet provided with the application.
- Applications must include the student’s transcript covering high school years to date.
